Things to do near Headwaters

If you enjoy being outside, you’ve come to the right place! There are tons of trails that are in and around Headwaters Lake for you to explore. Boats you can rent to take a paddle around the lake to see what you can’t by foot or to just take in the serenity of being on the lake.

Also, a lot of things to do nearby. The beautiful district of Peachland is less than 30 minutes from Headwaters. There you can do the Pincushion Mountain hike. The top brings you to gorgeous views of the Okanagan Lake and Peachland. It ’s about a two hour long hike and 5km. To get to the trailhead from Headwaters, travel north on Hwy 97, turn left on Ponderosa Drive, follow it almost to the end until you get to a private drive. Park at the bottom and hike up to the trail head. It’s well worth the drive!

If you are looking for something a little more ‘adventurous’ you can go to the Zip Zone and go on Canada’s highest freestyle zipline! It is only about a 20 minute drive from Headwaters. http://zipzone.ca/  If you travelled up Peachland Main to get to us, you passed it on your way up.

The Waterfront Grill- they have something for everyone,  with delicious pizza, you can find them right across the road from the public docks!

The Blind Angler- something for everyone and right on the water!

Gasthaus on the Lake- traditional bavarian fare on the waterfront! An excellent choice as well!
